How to Set Up Google Assistant to Make Free Phone Calls | How to Make Calls on Google Home Mini and Google Home Smart Speakers
Google Assistant can make free calls in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom (excluding territories). These calls are free and you can save a lot of money if you don’t have free long-distance calling included with your mobile or cell phone plans.
Keep in mind you cannot make calls to emergency services such as Police, Ambulance, or Fire Services, usually 911 in North America.
To utilize this free calling feature from your Google Assistant Powered devices, you need to change a few simple settings on your Google Home app and on your mobile or cell phone.
In this video, I will show how to activate or change settings for the Google Home app to make free phone calls using Google Assistant (OK Google or Hey Google) on your Google Home Mini or other Google smart devices or speakers.
